Description: He is a well built person, not rippling with muscles, but is definitly athletic. He has light brown hair, usually worn fairly short, and brown eyes. His Fantastic Four costume is dark blue, with accents of black and made of unstable molecules, which allows him to wear it without burning it. On his upper left chest is a "4" ensignia to represent his affiliation with the team. When in his Human Torch form, his body is covered in flames and only a few of his features are visible.

Skills/Abilities/Powers: Johnny has a pyrokinetic ability that allows him to produce flames, controlling both the intensity and the heat. Using these powers he is also able to fly at fantastic speeds and cover his entire body in flames. He is resistant to heat.

He also has participated in a few motorbike competitions. He is good with driving and has a knack for automobiles.

Personality: Johnny Storm could be described as rash, irresponsible and slightly hotheaded. He seemed to mature slowly, having a sophmoric attitude towards life. He enjoys the spotlight and often goes out of his way to be funny or charismatic. Family is important to him, and although he argues with his teammates and even plays practical jokes on them, he would defend them to the death if it came to it.

Background: After Reed Richards, Susan's former boyfriend, and Victor von Doom plan an expedition to observe the cosmic energy clouds in the space, he is recruited as the maverick pilot. But when the quintet, conformed by Susan, Reed, Victor, Ben and himself, are in the space, they are zapped by the cloud's vast energies. When they return home, they seem to be alright, but suddenly they develop their characteristic powers. Johnny discovers he can become a "living torch" and can also fly and begins to bother Ben, who he calls the Thing, because of his appearance. Initially Johnny uses his powers solely to attract attention, such as participating in a daredevil motorbike contest and bursting into flames as he leaps off the bike (He also gives the team their 'codenames' at this point, much to the dislike of the others). When he is finally confronted about his irresponsible use of his powers, he becomes more mature, risking his life to draw a heat-seeking missile away from the Baxter Building. He then works with the rest of the Fantastic Four to defeat Victor, who now is Doctor Doom.

After the defeat of Doctor Doom, Johnny and his teammates became instant celebrities and as such, Johnny enjoyed life back in the spotlight once more. The Fantastic Four have gone on to have several other adventures and Johnny himself has been focusing on his career as of late. He has been trying to get into the motorbike circuit professionally, as well as trying out acting.
